Celebrate the new year with something sweet

New Jewish chef - Why Apples & Honey

The basic explanation for why we eat apples & honey is that we should have a “sweet new year,” but there are many deeper reasons given for this custom as well. I went with the classic items apples and honey, and added a few of my favorite fall things. Round item’s are special for this holiday, they symbolize the circle of life and the new year. I used a round board, round challah, round bowl for honey, round piece of Brie, and a whole pomegranate for garnish.

Simple Instructions

Spice up your new year Apple & Honey tradition, with this sweet grazing board.
